Last Thursday a Corporate Event was held at your club and I am attaching a thank you email sent by the organisers to Tony White Director of Operations/Golf Pro which I think should be shared with all Members. This kind of goodwill and word of mouth advertising this will generate is priceless;

Subject: Thank you from Southern Highlands Corporate Events
Dear Tony
We wanted to take this opportunity to sincerely thank you and the Board for contributing to the success of our Movember Celebrity Shootout last Thursday. It was a priveledge to be able to host the event at Bowral Golf Club - it really is a wonderful venue.
The success of any of our events depends largely on the people we work with and it really was a delight to work with you and your team. Nothing was a problem for you and your staff leading up to the event and on the day and we were particulaly grateful for this, given the logistics involved with our sponsors and the challenging weather conditions which made the course rather damp!
Trudy and her crew were extremely accomodating and seamlessly catered the day , keeping our players and sponsors happily fed and watered throughout.
Given the success of this inaugural Movember Celebity Golf Day and the positive feedback from the many participants, we hope to develop this fundraiser as an annual and very worthwhile event.
Tony, your enthusiam, expertise and professionalism is very much appreciated. I very much look foward to working with you in the future.
Kindest Regards,
Carla, Vanessa, Kate and Sam
Southern Highlands Corporate Events
The amount of rain we have experienced lately has made it very difficult for Damien and his staff to maintain the course to the extremely high standard they set themselves and that playing members have come to expect. Even under these circumstances your club is still the leading club in the Highlands.
I ask all members to exercise tolerance if the rough is a bit long or the greens although very true are slower than usual. Some operations such as spraying and general course maintenance may have to be carried out during play when weather conditions are favourable. Any inconvenience to players will be kept to a minimum, so please understand the difficulties they are working under and encourage rather than complain.

The Club Championships final will be played this Sunday Nov 21st. "A" grade over 36 holes commencing at 8.00am, "B" and "C" grade over 18 holes at 12.30pm.

"B" Grade - Neville Ridge v the winner of John Cummins & Greg Barnsley

Correction
An error was made in the runner up for the "A" Grade November Monthly Medal.
I announced Andrew Shortle (11) 76 nett as runner up when it should have been Charles Vaughan Smith (13) 73 nett. My sincere apologies to both these players for this oversight.

Bob Brue speaking in 1992 on the growth of the US Champions (Seniors) tour said " In 30 years time we're going to be in our 90's. We are going to play three-hole tournaments for $900,000 and the one who remembers his score wins."
Until next week good golfing
