Sitting in the Club house writing this blog and looking out to a course slowly submerging in the rain I wonder what we have done to anger the weather gods. To my mind it has been a long cold winter. Although the rainfall is down on last year the water table must be so high it doesn't take much to make the course unplayable. The blossom trees are coming out and the willows are greening up so Spring is just around the corner. Having said all that it is warm and snug inside, the fire is roaring and the Friday Bridge players are having their coffee break. Faye and Brian Frith are having an early lunch so why not come and join us even just for a coffee to enjoy the view, you'll enjoy it - promise. No need to book we'll find room for you. At the risk of repeating myself IT'S YOUR CLUB!why not make use of it?
