- The course is in first class condition now with the greens at their best. The open water hazard on the 16th is now converted to an ephemeral waterway with normal stormwater run off now piped underground. In a few weeks it should be grassed over so that it will be possible to walk through.
- Mounding on the left side of the 16th will continue and will be contoured to cover the pine tree stumps. The mounds will be grassed and then later, when the hot weather finishes, trees will be planted.
- You will have noticed a gum tree has come down on the 10th. During the Sunday Christmas Cheer Robert Eriksson's team heard a crack and a large gum tree broke off about 4m above the ground and crashed down onto the rough on the left hand side of the 10th. On inspection inside the tree was quite rotten but on the surface of the tree there was no sign of this internal problem.
